Dean’s “True Red Ruin” Featured in April’s “Art Forum”

Photography Artist-in-Residence Danielle Dean’s exhibition “True Red Ruin” was reviewed in the April issue of Art Forum.  According to Matthew Biro, “Simultaneously visceral and abstract, the installation explores black identity in relation to capitalism and colonialism through an uncanny superimposition of the histories of these two system upon the present day.
