Cranbrook Mourns the Passing of Julia Reyes Taubman

It is with heavy hearts that Cranbrook mourns the loss of Julia Reyes Taubman, a staunch supporter of the arts and a member of the Cranbrook Academy of Art and Art Museum Board of Governors since 2003.

The exhibition features pieces that are the culmination of two years of studio work from a diverse group of students who are poised to become tomorrow’s creative leaders. The exhibition will run from April 17 – May 15, 2016 at Cranbrook Art Museum.A special ArtMembers’ Opening Reception will be held on April 16 from 6-8pm. Cranbrook Academy of Art Debuts “Fine Design for the End of the World” at the 2016 Collective Design Fair

The 3D Design Department of Cranbrook Academy of Art is pleased to announce its participation in the upcoming 2016 Collective Design fair, taking place May 4-8, 2016, at Skylight Clarkson Sq in West Soho, New York City.

The department has created the exclusive exhibition Fine Design for the End of the World, specifically for this show.

Cranbrook Academy of Art Maintains Designation as a Top Producer of Fulbright Students

The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs recently announced the U.S. colleges and universities that produced the most 2015-2016 Fulbright U.S. Students, and once again, Cranbrook Academy of Art was ranked as a top producer. With another grant received last year, Academy students have now received a total of 26 grants over the past 12 years, making the Academy, per capita, the highest producer of student Fulbright scholars in the United States.
