DESCRIPTION:Join us in the deSalle Auditorium for a free\, public lecture from Visiting Filmmaker\, Caveh Zahedi. In his lecture\, Failure and Spirituality\, Zahedi will about his personal experiences of failure and how they have informed and continue to inform his work. \nCranbrook Art Museum will be closed at the time of this lecture\, please enter deSalle Auditorium through the Cranbrook Academy of Art Library entrance directly across the peristyle from the museum main doors. \nCaveh Zahedi is an autobiographical filmmaker whose feature-length films include The Sheik and I (2012)\, I Am A Sex Addict (2005)\, In The Bathtub of the World (2001)\, I Don’t Hate Las Vegas Anymore (1994)\, and A Little Stiff (1991). He is also the writer/director of the web series The Show About the Show and the writer/host of the podcast 365 Stories I Want To Tell You Before We Both Die.
