Credit/debit cards and digital wallets only. \nThe sale will open at 11am and remain open until 5pm or until all rings are sold out. \nStudents from other departments will also be selling their work in Forum Gallery\, these works may include paintings\, drawings\, small sculptures\, and more. \nCranbrook Art Museum and Cranbrook Institute of Science’s annual Winter Solstice celebration also takes place on Saturday\, December 20\, 2025. The sale supports artists in the Ceramics program and their travel during the Academic year. \nThe sale will take place in Cranbrook Art Museum’s ArtLab on its lower level. Museum admission is not required for entry to the sale\, but you are welcome to purchase gallery admission at the museum’s front desk to enjoy their current Fall exhibitions. \nVisitors should be prepared to wait in line as capacity in the ArtLab is limited. \nAll cups cost $30 plus tax. The sale will run from December 1 through December 10\, 2021\, and will feature nearly 200 works from a variety of Academy alumni.Thanks to the generosity of our strong alumni base\, half of all proceeds raised through the sale will be donated to the Academy Scholarship Fund in support of future generations of Cranbrook Academy of Art students.The site will go live at artsale.cranbrookart.edu on December 1 at 12pm EST. Each item will have a listed price – this is not an auction-style sale – so buyers are encouraged to act quickly! This year\, the event will be held inside the Art Lab of Cranbrook Art Museum and spread out over two days to allow for safe shopping protocols. \nOnly a small amount of shoppers will be allowed into the Art Lab at one time\, and all guests are free to visit the galleries of Cranbrook Art Museum while they wait. Guests must wear a mask and observe all Museum safety protocols\, outlined here. \nGuests should park in the Cranbrook Art Museum parking lot (overflow parking is available in the parking deck at Cranbrook Institute of Science). Guests will then check-in at the tent located next to the parking lot to be escorted into the sale. \nWe hope you can join us! \n
