Cranbrook Alums Are Redefining Fashion

The exhibition “ReFashion” at form & concept includes alumni from Cranbrook Academy of Art Annica Cuppetelli (Fiber ’08), Jeanne Medina (Fiber ’13), and Peter Clouse (Fiber’14), as well as Artist-in-Residence and head of Fiber, Art Mark Newport. According to Director and Curator, Frank Rose,  “There’s an implicit exhibitionist quality in wearing any type of clothing and there are some fantastic artists that take this to another level – not only through works that are functionally wearable, but using fashion, clothing and wearables as a starting point for conceptual pieces.” The exhibition is open through October 30.
