Sale of Bill Farmer’s Work Begins
Recently passed bookstore owner Tom Rudloff was a caretaker of his good friend Bill Farmer’s (Painting ’51) eclectic collection. From free-form ink drawings, sculptures and much more, Farmer was a prolific artist who worked in Omaha for much of a career that spanned more than 40 years, the Omaha World-Herald reported. The proceeds from the sale of Farmer’s art to galleries, museums or individuals will be donated to causes that were dear to the artist and his wife, Marge.
