Ruhwald Exhibition Opens at the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland

September 22nd, 2016

Cranbrook Academy of Art Ceramics Artist-in-Residence Anders Ruhwald will open his latest exhibition, “Anders Ruhwald: Unit 1: 3583 Dubois” at the Museum of Contemporary ArtCleveland MOCA on Friday, September 23. The exhibition presents several life-sized rooms and corridors based on a permanent installation that Ruhwald is creating in one apartment of his building at 2170 Mack Avenue, previously addressed 3583 Dubois.

“It’s the most ambitious and comprehensive installation we’ve ever done in that space,” said Megan Reich, deputy director of MOCA, in an interview with Hyperallergic. “I’m really proud that we’re doing it with an artist who’s working near here, and also someone like Anders, who is both global and rooted at the same time.”

And according to Cleveland.com,  Artist-in-Residence Anders Ruhwald exhibition is  “the showstopper this season – the not-too-miss-experience.”

The exhibition is open through January 8, 2017.
