"Artsy" Named Stoller One of the "20 Artists Shaping the Future of Ceramics"

Jessica Stoller (Ceramics ’06) is one of the “20 artists shaping the future of Ceramics” according to Artsy. She uses china paints to add color, often firing works up to five times to achieve the right hues, and finishes her surfaces with pearlescent lusters. She’ll show these works with P.P.O.W at Art Basel in Hong Kong this March, and as she prepares for her next solo show at the New York space, she’ll do a residency at the Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park in Japan, with support from a Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant.
