Shiraz Gallab (2D Design ’15) is profiled in this month’s Eye on Design, where she discusses the role of personal narrative in graphic design. The article provides an overview of Gallab’s background as a Sudanese-born and U.S.-raised designer who formed the beginnings of a robust personal practice at Cranbrook Academy of Art. “I try in my work to study different interactions or different conversations that can take place between human beings, and to study how we can communicate more effectively,” she says.
