Ash Arder's "Shine a Light" Project Featured in Hyperallergic
Ash Arder (Fiber ’18) is a current Artist-Fellow at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit. She was recently tasked with reimagining a project for the museum called “Shine a Light,” which was intended to illuminate some of the darkest areas of city. She worked with filmmaker Julie Dash to create content for an outdoor, large-scale projection-mapping experience. She also worked with Aaron Jones (Architecture ’11) who helped create the solar-powered community structure that would house the work. Read all about the project on Hyperallergic.
