McArthur Binion (Painting ’73) was featured in The New York Times this weekend in a story about African-American artists in their 70s and 80s who are enjoying a market renaissance. As a reminder, we were pleased to host an exhibition of his work at Cranbrook Art Museum last fall, and he received a Distinguished Alumni Award from Cranbrook in 2017. Read the full story here.
