Karyn Olivier Creates New Site-Specific Public Artwork for Philadelphia's Stenton Park

School is Out by Karyn Olivier at Stenton Park in Philadelphia.
The new art installation, School is Out, by Karyn Olivier (Ceramics, ’01) features a blackboard and 20 engraved granite pavers installed on the exterior of the community center. The interactive blackboard creates a forum for engagement and exploration. Visitors can read the quotes engraved on the pavers and write their own thoughts on the blackboard’s surface.
