3D Design Alumna Begüm Cânâ Özgür Featured in House Beautiful

Begüm Cânâ Özgür (3D Design ’13) talks with House Beautiful about her process, current studio work, and discovering her love of weaving at Cranbrook. “I tried working with a lot of different materials and then I found my interest in textiles, partly because they were easier to handle compared with metalworking or woodworking,” she says. “I really enjoyed the process of spinning and dyeing and weaving.”

Today, she splits her time between New York and Istanbul, where she manages and thriving studio practice.
