Cranbrook Academy of Art Alumni Featured in Virtual Exhibition at The Carr Center

A new virtual exhibition at The Carr Center is curated by alumna Laura D. Gibson (Photography ’20) and features four artists including Morgan Bouldes (Photography ’21) and Ricky Weaver (Photography ’18). The four Black women photographers and documentarians from Detroit included in a way of escape: Reflections on Ritualism, reevaluate and subvert traditional methods and practices that are dedicated to concepts and themes of American ritualism.
The virtual exhibition is on view through March 13, 2021.
