Sarah Thomas and Ashley Beatty Curate Debut Exhibition at Bread & Circus Gallery

Nature Calls, a themed exhibition curated by Sarah Thomas (Photo ’20) and Ashley Beatty (Photo ’19), features work from all over the nation. Nature Calls is the debut show at the newly opened Bread & Circus Gallery and Residency that Ashley Beatty and Erin Duddy started in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The artwork within the show confronts the environmental issues caused by humans. Exploring the relationship that humans have with nature and the effects of their co-existence using Nature as the narrating voice, Thomas and Beatty selected works based around the alterations made through the ongoing contact of consumerism, waste, pollution, greed, and politics.
