Sonya Clark’s “Tatter, Bristle, and Mend” Exhibition on View at the National Museum of Women in the Arts

Sonya Clark’s (Fiber ’95) Tatter, Bristle, and Mend will be on view at the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) in Washington D.C., through May 31, 2021. This is the first museum survey of the acclaimed textile and social practice artist’s 25-year career. Featuring over 100 works confronting themes of race, visibility, and Blackness, the exhibition explores the social and cultural impacts of the African diaspora.
