Jova Lynne Fosters Connections with Detroit's Artist Community at MOCAD

Jova Lynne (Photography ’17) has brought a renewed focus on local Detroit artists at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD). Dual Vision and Motor City Underground, both currently on view, are her latest exhibitions since returning to MOCAD in September 2020. Dual Vision brought together twenty pairs of Detroit artists to create new collaborative works. Motor City Underground is the first American-museum solo exhibition for Detroit legend Leni Sinclair, known for her photos of Detroit counterculture and co-founding the White Panther Party with her husband, John Sinclair.
