Jun Kaneko, Former Head of Ceramics at Cranbrook Academy of Art, To Receive 2021 Lifetime Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award

This fall, the International Sculpture Center will present Jun Kaneko with the 2021 Lifetime Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award. A celebration event will be held in Omaha, Nebraska, in October 2021. Kaneko was the head of the Ceramics program at Cranbrook Academy of Art from 1979-1986.
Kaneko’s work is currently on view in With Eyes Opened: Cranbrook Academy of Art Since 1932 at Cranbrook Art Museum.
