September 3rd, 2021

David Feinberg (Painting ’69) retired from the University of Minnesota this summer after 50 years as the longest serving art professor in the schools history. The Katherine Nash Gallery is exhibiting 53 years of his artwork in an exhibition titled, Divide Up Those in Darkness from the Ones Who Walk in Light, September 14 to December 11, 2021.

Divide Up Those in Darkness from the Ones Who Walk in Light celebrates the 50-year artistic and teaching career of David Feinberg in the Department of Art at the University of Minnesota and is comprised of two retrospective collections of work: Feinberg’s own artworks from 1968 to present and works from the Voice to Vision (V2V) human rights community engagement project he initiated in 2002.
