Nelly Sethna's First Retrospective At Chatterjee & Lal Is Artforum Critic's Pick

Nelly Sethna, Untitled, ca. late 1960s–early 1970s, wool and cotton tapestry, 10′ 3” x 4′ 6”.

Artforum included a retrospective of textile artist Nelly Sentha in their Critic’s Picks. The Unpaved Crusty, Earthy Road, named based on a quote from Sethna, is the first introspective for the Indian artist. The exhibition features three decades of her work including her tapestry pieces and prints of site-specific installations and research material.

The Unpaved Crusty, Earthy Road is on view at Chatterjee & Lal in Mumbai, India through October 16, 2021.
