Qualeasha Wood Is One of L'Officiel's Artists to Watch in 2022

Qualeasha Wood (Photography ’21) is set to have a blockbuster 2022! She currently has a group show and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Alter Egos/Projected Selves, on view through May 2022. This February, she will have a group show with powerhouse Hauser & Wirth, The New Bend. Wood is represented by Kendra Jayne Patrick, with whom she exhibited at Art Basel Miami Beach this past year.
Wood’s social media-tapestry works explore Black femme icons within Internet culture, drawing upon queerness, feminity, and Blackness with her unique wit and personal experiences.
