A scuplture mounted to a white wall. The sculpture consists of a circular white bucket mounted by the base. Inside are various printed fabrics set by a medium. It appears like the fabrics are sitting in a liquid.

Several Cranbrook Academy of Art alumni are featured in a new group exhibition at Cranbrook Art Museum. Homebody seeks to unpack the layers of “home” through artistic interpretations of the word and the complex feelings it evokes. The exhibition included about 20 Detroit-connected artists’ work of various mediums.

Homebody in on view from Wednesday, January 26, 2022 through June 19, 2022. Advance admission can be booked online with Cranbrook Art Museum. Stay tuned to the museum’s website for events related to Homebody.
