Rebekah Sweda (Ceramics ’20) discussed her ceramics practice and career development since receiving her Master of Fine Arts degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art with ArtsThread. Sweda’s specialty is in throwing, using a pottery wheel, bending the line between functional and non-functional with her vessels.
Of finding success in ceramics Sweda says, “…quantity is the key. The more you make, the more you find out what you like and what you don’t like.”
