Chris Schanck's Solo Exhibition Curated by Andrew Blauvelt at MAD featured in The Wall Street Journal

Chris Schanck’s (3D Design ’11) upcoming first museum solo exhibition at the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) in New York was recently featured in The Wall Street Journal. “Chris Schanck: Off World”, curated by Andrew Blauvelt (Design ’88), Director of Cranbrook Art Museum, opens on February 12, 2022. Schanck is known for his sculptural furniture that blurs the line between design and art. Schnack works out of his Detroit studio along with a community of artists, students, and Bangladeshi craftspeople who all contribute to the studio’s collective practice.
