G.E. Liu’s (Painting ’20) first solo exhibition opened on May 14, 2022 at Louis Buhl & Co. in Detroit, MI. G.E. Liu: First Love Paradise demonstrates the experience of falling in love, and a life lesson that involves both destruction and rebirth.
Liu’s work explores the commonalities and variations between the East and West and infuses humor, sexuality, and self-deprecation.
G.E. Liu: First Love Paradise is on view from May 14 to June 25, 2022.
