2023 Detroit Artists Market Scholarship Exhibition Features Scholarship Finalists from Cranbrook Academy of Art
Every year, Detroit Artists Market hosts a scholarship competition and exhibition rotating between three local schools, Cranbrook Academy of Art, the College for Creative Studies, and Wayne State University. Cranbrook Academy of Art is the featured school in 2023, and the exhibition, Annual Scholarship Awards & Exhibition featuring Cranbrook Academy of Art, is currently on view through April 8, 2023. Painting alum Lindy Marie Shewbridge (MFA Painting 2021) is the featured alumni artist in the exhibition. Scholarship winners are Rachel Wittels (Fiber 2024), Taylor Childs (Fiber 2024), and Martin Venezky (MFA Design 1993, Photography 2024).
Detroit Artists Market will host a panel discussion with the 2023 Annual Scholarship Awards & Exhibition finalists on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
