Jen Catron and Paul Outlaw, both Cranbrook Academy of Art Sculpture alumni (2009) created a new installation, Meat Sweats, for Dog House Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. The installation is the inaugural show for the new gallery, a collaboration between Lisa Levy and The Brooklyn Comedy Collective, which will focus on humorous art. Meat Sweats features an excessive display of ceramic raw meat mimicking a butcher shop, in Catron and Outlaw’s signature, over-the-top style – a feast for the eyes.
Meat Sweats is on view at Dog House Gallery from October 5 through November 13, 2023.
