Artist Heidi Weiss Shares Her Creative Journey with WMUK

Artist and educator Heidi Weiss (MFA Fiber 2011) spoke with Kalamazoo’s WMUK about her creative journey, you can listen to the 15-minute interview right on their website. Weiss discusses how art came to be a part of her life in childhood through to starting her own business, Spruce Interiors which specializes in interior painting, color consulting, and specialty finishes.

In addition to her MFA from Cranbrook, Weiss also holds a BFA and MFA from Western Michigan University. She has taught at many West Michigan institutions and community organizations, including several years at Western Michigan University.
