Laura Foster Nicholson's Venice-Inspired Tapestries Featured at Saint Meinrad Archabbey Library Gallery

Laura Foster Nicholson (MFA Fiber 1982) opened a new solo exhibition at Saint Meinrad Archabbey Library Gallery in St. Meinrad, Indiana. Acqua Alta – Venice in Flood features multiple handwoven tapestries inspired by the city of Venice and how it has been affected by rising sea levels due to climate change.

In addition to her personal practice, Nicholson is the owner of LFN Textiles, designing ribbons and household textiles, for companies such as Renaissance Ribbons, Crate & Barrel, Land of Nod, Monticello, Larsen, Inc. & others.
