Elysia’s (MFA Ceramics 2021)Vitrine Chair 2.0 -Foam Series was included in an international group exhibition, Collectible Barcelona, at VASTO gallery in Spain. Sight Unseen featured the exhibition’s “up-and-coming” designers.

Elysia describes The Vitrine Chair in foam as “a work that holds an image of time, of transformation, and material reincarnation. Looking at how something becomes something else, the material of foam will change color and yellow through oxidation over time. A piece of sculptural (thinking) furniture that will change within your dwelling space and perhaps offer a conversation.”

In 2023, Elysia published a book, “M04: Vitrine Chair Book” featuring 40 photographs and an experimental interview of the artist in dialogue with the Vitrine Chair.
