John Torreano Opens Solo Exhibition at Birmingham's Hill Gallery

John Torreano (Painting ’63) opened a new solo exhibition at Birmingham’s Hill Gallery. John Torreano: Columns 2015-2020 features recent works painted in bright colors and studded with sparkling acrylic gems.
Columns is on view through January 15, 2021.
Torreano was inspired to pursue his MFA at Cranbrook after taking a course with Richard DeVore, who received his MFA in 1957 and became the head of Ceramics after Maija Grotell in 1966.
