Audubon Magazine taps Painting Alum Lauren Levato Coyne for 125th Anniversary Issue
The National Audubon Society’s Magazine commissioned interdisciplinary artist and Cranbrook alum Lauren Levato Coyne to create a new work for their Aviary Series. The artwork appears in the summer 2024 issue which is also the organization’s 125th anniversary issue.
Levato Coyne chose a black-crowned night heron as her subject and the magazine wrote a feature about the artist and the artwork featured both in print and online.
Magazines are on newsstands now; the full story with studio images by Jon Verney is available online.
In addition to her practice, Levato Coyne is an educator at Williams College & Community Access to the Arts.
