Charlotte Street Announces 2025 Visual Artist & Generative Performing Artist Award Fellows

Noelle Choy (MFA Sculpture 2022) was named a 2025 Charlotte Street Visual Artist Award Fellow, an award honoring the outstanding achievements of Kansas City contemporary artists since 1997. Each artist receives an unrestricted cash grant of $10,000 and recognition by Charlotte Street throughout the year. The 2025 fellows will be featured in a curated group exhibition opening in the fall of 2025 at the Spencer Museum of Art on the University of Kanas Lawrence campus.

In addition to her practice, Choy is an Assistant Professor in the Painting department of Kansas City Art Institute (KCAI). From 2022-2024, she was the William T. Kemper Visiting Assistant Professor at KCAI through an Association of Independent Colleges of Art & Design (AICAD) Teaching Fellowship.
