Wasserman Projects' 10 Year Show Includes 17 Academy Artists
Multiple Cranbrook Academy of Art artists are featured in an upcoming exhibition at Wasserman Projects in Detroit. Tinned is an invitational group exhibition celebrating the gallery’s 10th anniversary, featuring 70 artworks.
Participating Academy artists include Matthew Bennett Laurents (MFA Ceramics 2015), Aaron Blendowski (MFA 3D Design 2006), Jon Brumit (MFA Painting 1999), Jack Craig (MFA 3D Design 2012), Jessica Dolence (MFA Fiber 2016), Elliot Earls (MFA Design 1993) current Head of Graphic Design, Jacob Feige (MFA Painting 2005), Margaret Hull (MFA Fiber 2016), Beth Katleman (MFA Ceramics 1995), Gerhardt Knodel former Head of Fiber and President of the Academy, Martha Mysko (MFA Painting 2011) current Co-head of Painting, Sara Nishikawa (MFA Ceramics 2017), Kiwi Phong Nguyen (MFA Metalsmithing 2023), Sandra Osip (MFA Metalsmithing 1983), Robert Raphael (MFA Ceramics 2004), Victoria Ashley Shaheen (MFA Ceramics 2013), and Walker Walls Tarver (MFA Painting 2023).
Tinned will be on view from May 31 through August 23, 2025. An opening reception will take place on Saturday, May 31, from 5 to 8pm.
