Isla Center for the Arts

Alumnus Drew Ippoliti (MFA Ceramics 2009) is among the artists featured in the University of Guam Fine Arts Faculty Biennial, on view through January 30 at the Isla Center for the Arts on the University of Guam (UOG) campus. The exhibition showcases recent work by full-time and adjunct faculty from the university’s Fine Arts program and is open to the public at no charge.

Ippoliti, who teaches ceramics and sculpture at the UOG, presents work alongside fellow faculty members Ric R. Castro and Irena Keckes, as well as adjunct instructors Victor Consaga and Jerrold Castro, and professor emeritus Lewis Rifkowitz. The biennial showcases a range of media, including ceramic sculpture, acrylic painting, printmaking, photography, and mixed media works.

The most recent addition to the UOG Fine Arts faculty, Ippoliti received his BFA in Ceramics from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design before receiving his MFA at Cranbrook Academy of Art. The exhibition is supported in part by the UOG College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and is presented at the Isla Center for the Arts.
