Emily Endo Presents New Solo Exhibition at Kohler Arts Center
The John Michael Kohler Arts Center debuts a new exhibition by sculpture artist Emily Endo (MFA Fiber 2010) in Emily Endo: Estuary. This marks Endo’s largest exhibition to date. Their background is in glass and sculpture, and they primarily work in material experimentation and sensory experience.
Endo is known for intricately detailed sculptures that focus on the relationship between bodies and the environment. The exhibition examines sensory awareness and how it reshapes perspective. Endo brings the senses together to contemplate how they relate to each other by combining scents with their sculptural forms.
In addition to her MFA from Cranbrook, Emily Endo holds a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Their work has been shown at Somerset House (London), Massey Klein (New York), and LVL3 (Chicago).
Endo will also serve as the first artist-in-residence in 2026 for ExAIR, JMKAC’s resident program. They live and work in Joshua Tree, California.
