Forbes Names Blauvelt’s “Hippie Modernism” One Of “13 Exhibits Worth Remembering In 2016”

Forbes Magazine has named Cranbrook Art Museum Director Andrew Blauvelt’s (Design ’88) Hippie Modernism: The Stuggle for Utopia one of “13 Art Exhibits Worth Remembering in 2016”. Blauvelt developed the exhibition while he was the Curator of Architecture and Design at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. After its debut at the Walker Art Center, Hippie Modernismtraveled to Cranbrook Art Museum for the summer of 2016, and will open at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive on February 7, 2017.
