Detroit Month of Design: Cranbrook Chair Show Opening Reception

The annual Cranbrook Chair Show returns this September in conjunction with Detroit Month of Design, a celebration of Detroit’s rich design community through exhibitions and events running through the month of September. The Cranbrook Chair Show will present works in a variety of mediums and materials from current and past Cranbrook Academy of Art Students celebrating the institution’s long history of producing iconic chair designs while simultaneously offering new perspectives on the idea of the ‘chair’.

Join us for an opening reception on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 5pm to 10pm. Beverages will be provided.
