Mitchell Squire is Professor of Architecture at Iowa State University, his Alma Mater for B.Arch and M.Arch degrees. He is currently Visiting Professor at The Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture (CCNY), and has been visiting professor at University of Tennessee, University of California Berkeley, University of Michigan, and University of Minnesota. He received the New Faculty Teaching Award and the Creative Achievement Award from the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, and has exhibited his work in museums and galleries across the U.S. and Europe. He co-curated the current exhibition “Black Stories” at the Des Moines Art Center.
