Extreme painter Joey Cocciardi (Painting ’12) gets lost in the wilderness on purpose. His work embodies the most exuberant traits of extreme sports: physical grit, a compulsion to conquer the organic obstacles of nature, and some personal danger. Cocciardi’s works are at the Gildar Gallerythrough Feb. 20.
