Emily Culver Opens Solo Exhibition at Brooklyn Metal Works

Emily Culver (MFA Metalsmithing 2017) recently opened a new solo exhibition at Brooklyn Metal Works in New York. Preludes features Culver’s sculptures objects and jewelry – amalgamations of machinery and organic anatomy.
Through these works Culver “contemplate[s] the implications of (d)evolution and what it can mean to undergo such transformative processes.”
Preludes will be on view through Saturday, April 20, 2024.
Culver is currently the Assistant Professor of Jewelry and Metalsmithing at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
