Joe Parr’s Mellow Clock in Red for Design House Sweden
Joe Parr’s (MFA 3D Design 2019) Mellow Clock for Design House Stockholm was recently featured as a stand-out launch at Stockholm Design Week. The Mellow Clock turns time into a sculptural, playful experience. Anders Färdig, founder of Design House Stockholm, describes the clock as ”fantasy and function in one superb object.”
Parr is based in Chicago and works with industry partners to develop products in furniture, lighting, consumer goods, and technology. He’s previously worked in the design studios of Herman Miller, Steelcase, and Industrial Facility in London.
