Decker Has First Solo Show at Ornamentum

Aaron Decker (Metalsmithing ’15) was interviewed for Art Jewelry Forum about the work he created for his first solo exhibition Derby and His Badges at Ornamentum. His pieces engage with potentially ominous imagery, such as military medals and hand grenades, by playfully reimagining them into innocuous forms disarmed through exaggeration and reconfiguration. The exhibition runs through August 14.
