Zahra Almajidi Featured in American Craft's Queue Profile Series

Zahra Almajidi (MFA Metalsmithing 2021) was profiled in American Craft magazine’s Queue series. Almajidi uses both traditional metalsmithing techniques and CAD/CAM to create her works which explore how ornamentation and jewelry allow people to navigate both space and cultures. In the interview, she describes her process and tools, inspirations, and her interest in exploring identity and culture.

Almajidi was also featured in American Craft’s feature The Scene: Craft in Detroit.
